I have just bought a new cat toy from Tesco. It's a little mouse shaped lazer and the cats love it!!

It's onyl £3 and it takes 3 watch sized batteried but has three in it already and an extra three in the packet.
My little kitten is zooming around the room after it as is my 5 year old cat and 12 year old.

The oldest one doesn't normally play but he's been running round like a mad thing. Certainly a good buy.
Would be good for overweight cats and you can move it further away faster.
Although you should definately be careful as it is a very strong laser!!

This sounds great, I'm going to get one for my cats. Hopefully it will stop them chasing each other, sometimes in and out of the cat flap and making such a lot of noise . They go through it that quickly I keep thinking the flaps going to fly off!

I also think this toy is brilliant! I bought the lazer light toy a couple of years ago when my new cat Maisie seemed to be taking a while to get on with my old cat Twigglet (there was a lot of hissing and backing off between them).
I would use it a couple of times a day grabbing both cats attention at the same time so that eventually they would be running around and chasing the light together, most of the time they would be concentrating on the light so much they didnt even realise they were sat togeather. Within about a week they started to trust each other and are now best of friends!
I also used the toy when i introduced another cat into our family at christmas (Merry) he loved it too and soon all 3 cats were wizzing around my living room having fun together.
I would recommend the lazer light to anyone who is bringing a new cat into the home where other cats live, i think it quickly shows the cats that they can play together and sit close without threatening each other.
Well worth it!

My cats love their laser toy! They can play with it for hours! Who would have thought something that simple would make such a great toy?! I use a laser pen because the batteries tend to last longer.

Ive used these with dogs to they love them just as much! obviosly they are not as quick as cats!
