Question  Blindness

Can anyone help....last tuesday one of may cats TED had a dental...he stopped breathing during the procedure and it sems he had a reaction to the anesthetic....Confused I was told he ahd brain damage...he stayed at the vets until Friday when I bought him home....he is having problems walking and cannot see anything, he has however got his purr back!!!! Has anyone else experienced this?? Its frustrating for him and upsetting for me Sad:(Sad

It must be really upsetting for you. Does the vet think that things might get better over time?

I'm sorry i've not got any real advce for you as i have never expirience this myself but i do feel for you and as long as your pet is still eating and in general good health hopefully you will be able to spend many a happy long years togeather.

Cats are normally very good at adapting to their disabilities so perhaps over time your cat will become steadier on its feet.
