Cat is off his food
My cat had been missing for a while, got him back. He had lost some weight and wasn't very keen on eating anything. He has been to the vets, and had check ups, and they cant find anything wrong with him. He is still not eating much, which is very odd for him, as normally, he is the biggest glutton going!

I've tried changing his food, and I really don't know what else to do. The only thing he will eat is tinned tuna, but even then it is not a lot, just a few mouthfuls. I don't like to feed him the tuna, as the salt in it but I can't see him starving.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd be so grateful,

Thanks a lot..

RE: Cat is off his food
I hope this story has a happy ending.

It reminded me of hearing of my sister-in-law's cat who went off his food. I think he ended up eating just cheese and milk for a while, or something odd like that.

The vet's advice was to feed him that, rather than not have him eat.

Is this an outdoor cat? Our cats used to get like that at times, and our vet didn't find anything. He thought they were probably chewing on lizards or eating something outdoors that put their tummies off sometimes. It did seem to mostly be our "huntress" cat.
