Eating bunny droppings?
For some reason my black lab lives for eating bunny poop in the back yard. He breath smells awful, but the doctors say it is not bad for her at all. It can actually be healthy!? Do you know anything about this type of behavior? does your dogs do it?
I have also been told that "black labs would eat a brick if they could chew it" meaning, they eat anything.

I dunno about rabbits, but my dog always gets into our cat's litterbox if we leave it for a day or two.
So gross.

My friend's dog eats ants on the sidewalk and other bugs. I don't know why, but he does. I guess he is in the same boat as you.
Wouldn't bunny droppings be bad for taste? ew..

RE: Eating bunny droppings?
Well, I know that bunnies poo two different kinds of droppings - the first they themselves eat again and it's good for them, because it contains most of the nutrients they need (It's like how a cow regurgitates it's own food and eats it ... except it comes out the other end for rabbits). If your dog is eating this kind of poo, then I suppose it's not bad for him.

I haven't tried that out and I wouldn't want my dogs to. I throw away my rabbit's poop in the garbage. did anything bad happen to your dog afterwards? I hope not...
