What was your first pet?

Mine was a cat, it unfortunately was run over by a car right in front of me. After that I had a dog.

I personally prefer dogs over cats.

My first pet was a Goldfish if that even counts. I named him Goldy obviously when I was like 6 years old. Good times, good times. Eventually he died because I overfed him. Because I was 6, I just dumped the whole fish food in.

Mine were two Shelties that my parents had from even before I was born.

Also - A field mouse that we caught in my house and kept in a hamster cage for a few weeks before we let him go.

Mine was a cat which is probably the most common first pet you can get!

First pets always stick in the mind most mine was a cat called Cyril he looked just like a scruffy little kitten, ahh bless him.
