Happy Endings to missing pets
Hi Everyone
I want to tell everyone that more often than not you do get a happy ending to a missing pet.
5 yrs ago i had 2 jack Russell sisters Ellie & Tanya and one day while they were out in the back garden someone opened the gate and Tanya escaped, I was worried sick as we live on a very busy main road, I phoned the police, the council and dog warden within minutes of her going missing. Myself, my partner, 2 kids, some neighbours & some nice ppl off the street joined in a search of the local area for her. 1 hr past, then 2,3,4,5 and then i got a phone call from the police, some lady had called in, she had found her and taken her home with her (20miles away). Where the woman said she picked her up was only 10 secs away from where we lived. She said she worked in Perth as a nurse and could drop her off the next day saying she'd be good company for her dog. I had to go & get her as she was in season and i didn't want the ladys dog making her pregnant so i got on a bus and 20 miles away was reunited with Tanya. I was so happy and so were my boys. I Tried to give the lady a reward but she wouldn't take it. So I sent her a box of chocs and a bunch of flowers the nxt day to show her I was very grateful. In those 5 hrs our life's was turned upside down. What I'm trying to say is that there's always hope. There's a lot of animal lovers out there who are only to happy to help. So anyone with a missing pet out there don't give up. I hope your story has a happy ending like what mines did x
