Hi all,
I wasnt aware of the UK National missing Pet Register until i plucked an English Mastiff out of the sea in North Wales on Friday night.
I have always had dogs, over Xmas having lost my young Saluki cross lurcher too cancer suddenly leaving her pal Molly the Cocker Spanial at a total loss until we went away for a short break. You can only imagine her shock of having to suddenly have this great slobbery hulk of a beast sat on her double seat wetting her bed, eating her food and leaning on her SLAVE ! Too say she had her nose put out is a bit of an under statement, only consoled temporarily when the police arrived ( both of which were dog nuts, one had 5 rescued dogs ! LOL ) and fell in love with her as she greeted them at the door of our motorhome with a teddy stuffed in her gob doing her best "AInt I cute !" look.
Shortly after they left, the nice guy from the dog rescue place arrived, we all agreed he was a beautifull, well tempered and mannered dog, well all except Molly. The dog was about 2 ish give or take a year or so, well looked after and frantically looking for his boss, but insistant on committing suicide by sitting at the bottom of a ramp with 4 ft waves rolling over him. I fell in love with him, unfortunatly due to having a smallish van and being disabled their was no way we could hang onto him until he was homed, although i did titter somewhat at the thought of him trying to sit with me on my disability scooter -------wow i bet it would wheelie ! LOL
I hope he is soon back in his own bed, with his slaves.
