How do you come up with names for your dogs? I'd also like to hear what the most creative name is.

Definently by the color and size of the dog. , Then I think of something creative.

After a few drinks, I sit down and come up with some ideas. You wouldn't even want to know what my pets are named.

They do very well people are too lazy to do it themselves. We will be seeing pet parlours popping up soon to pamper the pets


There are some weird names for dogs around, some are very inventive, but the classics are still Spot, Patch and Rover I bet!

It depends on how the dog looks and its' attitude. If he's a bit mean or very aggressive, I would name him spike, buster or butch! Something that sounds dangerous. That is one fun part of owning a new pet, naming them. I would have discussions with my family on what to call him because they usually don't agree with the names I come up with. lol!

I am usually inspired by their looks and, as mentioned, coloring. Otherwise I just try to come up with a name that sounds good for a pet.

I don't like to give them names you wouldn't give to a human. My dog is called Teo.

I contemplate with my friends on what unique name we can come up with. Something that is definitely for that dog, I wouldn't call a white dog blacky.

I cant believe some of the names that people call their pets, some are totally ridiculous!

I sometimes combine names and come up with the most fun one. I sometimes get some ideas from my family and friends. We would sit together and observe the new dog and would come up with the name, I do believe that some dogs can show you that they like their names or not.
