The winning Top Dog and Top Cat, as judged by a panel of experts including TV vet Emma Milne, will win a money-can’t-buy prize to feature in Your Dog and Your Cat magazine.

The winners will also receive over £2,000 worth of prizes including pet-friendly holidays, digital cameras and pet accessories.

My Pet Superstar has four competition categories you can enter:
• Most Entertaining – to showcase the most talented moggies and pups with amusing habits, funny mannerisms and clever tricks
• Cutest – a category for cute and cuddly pets that have the ‘aahhhh’ factor
• Look-a-like – for pets that resemble a famous celebrity, politician or historical character, or even those that have similar personality traits to someone in the public eye
• Inspirational – for heroic pets that have helped their owners overcome an obstacle in life, motivated them to do something new or simply have a ‘tail’ of courage

Entrants need to submit photos and videos of their pets to http://www.mypetsuperstar.co.uk and explain in less than 100 words why they think their pet should win.

The general public will then be able to vote on the website for their favourite pet. Dogs and cats with the most votes will go through to the final. The closing date for entries is 31 December 2010 so there’s plenty of time to submit your pooch or moggy!
