Hi, my cat went missing nearly a week ago now. (You can see details on http://www.nationalpetregister.org/mp/5263.htm)

We have been round our neighbourhood with flyers, put posters up everywhere, put a missing advert in the local paper, rang up all local vets/cat protection but still not heard anything and he hasn't come back. We miss him so much, as does his brother who keeps looking for him as they havn't been apart before. I was just wondering what other peoples experiences were with cats that went missing, how long they took to come back if they did etc.

Sorry to hear you have a cat missing.

I had a cat that was missing for 5 weeks and now sadly have a cat who has been missing for 7 weeks.

Dont give up hope, a friend of mine, her tom cat was missing for 5 months and she was starting to accept that he wouldnt be back and had just finished packing all his bowls and toys away in the cupboard only to turn aroung and there he was, wandered back in the house like he had never been away.

You have done what you can, just keep and eye open and your fingers crossed. xx

well..... hes back!! 2 weeks and 3 days he was missing but hes come back, a bit skinny but had a check at the vets and hes fine!!
