Wink Me
Hi All !

Just wanted to say hello. I'm Emily, & a cat lover. I have 9 cats of my own that all started off with one stray ! But love them all. I am quite new & came across this sight because I was looking for some advice, I have just put up a found advert for a cat, shes not very old. I would love to keep her but I have 9 cats like I said & shes sleeping in my spare room bless Smile , I also have 1 German Shepard Dog which I rescued ! Smile . Well not really much to say, I love animals ! I've added one picture of one of my cats shes called peanut, & is one of the babies in the family Smile ! xxx

RE: Me
Hello Emily ! and thanks for replying to my post on the other board. Until I moved recently, I used to walk GSDs for VIGIL German Shepherd Dog Rescue (http://www.vigilgsdrescue.org.uk), and then like you, a stray cat found me, so it's a funny old world. Animals know good animal people, don't they ! Smile

RE: Me
I haven't given him a name yet because he must belong to someone as he's so affectionate and house trained -

a classic ginger tom ! I'm currently living with my parents after being made redundant and it's not really a suitable environment for him, so I hope that someone claims him.

He's being naughty at the moment - not unreasonably as I've kept him inside as I don't want him running off again as he's got no microchip or tag.

I've never had any pets, myself as I've felt that I've never been able to give them a suitable home as I've moved about a lot in rented accomodation. I've walked dogs and pet sat for various people, so that satisfies my need for an animal fix, I've got pictures of some of my long termers on Flickr -

RE: Me
Cat (George) has been reunited with it's owner - a family from New Farm Startley which is the next village 0.7 miles away from where I found him. The lady said he'd been missing for about 6 weeks and has a habit of disappearing for lengthy periods perhaps because he is scared of the other cats she has. She offerered him to me but I refused - like I said this is not a good environment for any animal and there are too many cats around here - the previous evening I heard the worst cat fight I've ever heard. Territory is the most important thing - far better that he has acres of farmland to play in. And he loves people so I guess her kids make a fuss of him.
