Missing Munki
Hi Guys,

What a lovely forum and website! I hope it brings hope to those that have lost their little fluffies.

My 1 year old cat, Munki went out on Monday and hasn't yet come back. She's done this once before but came home after 2 days. This time it's been 4 days and we're beside ourselves.

People are telling me that this is quite common during the summer and I guess I just need some reassurance that she'll come home.

Any thoughts?

RE: Missing Munki
Last year in September one of my cats went missing for 6 days because it appears that he got curious and went into someone's shed or garage on a hot day and got locked in. We then had several rainy days so no one did any gardening and Smudge stayed wherever he was. Then on the 6 day in the afternoon it was nice so someone had to cut their lawn or something he came home. A little thinner and non the wiser but much to our relief. Hopefully this will happen to you as well. All I can suggest is going round to your neighbours house and asking them to check any outbuilding whilst your there and see if Munki appears.

Best of luck.

Thanks so much for your advice. It's given me some hope that she'll turn up. You just hear these stories about them never coming home and it leaves you cold doesn't it!!

I've had a thorough read through all suggestions so I'll keep you informed as to the outcome! Fingers crossed!
