I have heard rumors that they are trying to pass legislation in some places that would require certain breeds to wear a muzzle when outside of the home. I will not even get started on how ridiculous I think this is, instead I want to know how safe muzzles are. Are they ok for dogs with stub noses that already have trouble breathing??

I didn't hear anything like this- and I think it's crazy as well. It's like saying we need to duct tape humans mouths when we leave the house.

I'm not sure how safe they are as I don't use them on my dogs.

I think its awful too... I have been doing more reading since I posted - it looks like the muzzles can actually cause dogs to overheat. I am going to have to keep up on this and try to fight it as best I can!
