I dont have any suggestions either and my cat does exactly the same, although I find her perring rather soothing so I just doze right off again.

RE: Need help with Problem
Hi Everyone, my Tibby Tubbs used to always sleep in my bed snuggled up next to me when I first had him as a kitten, but to be perfectly honest I loved having him next to me, he is 1 years old now and only gets on me bed ( Pillow ) when the weather gets a bit cold. so maybe your little babies might just stop climbing in your's beds when they get a bit older too. I do however have 2 cats that would love to get under the duvet if I let them, they are 6 & 7 years old.

You really must try to break this habit now when he still a kitten. Like others have said once they get use to this routine it will be very hard to break later on. Our cat wakes us up every morning about 5:30am, the trouble is she is 14 and so i'm afraid we are the ones who have had to adapt to her.

You will have to be persistant with your kitten, do not give in. keep putting them on the floor with no fuss or stroking. Repeat the process over and over. If you show any emotion towards them or stroke them they will learn that this is a good thing and will not learn not to wake you. It may take a while and it will probably test your nerve. But it's the only way i'm afraid.

Hope that helps.Smile
