You will need just a few minutes a day, to scan though the missing pet’s listings to see if any are missing in your area. You can then join in the chat and post sightings or messages of support for the pet owner. This gives great satisfaction that many members are looking for other members pets in their area. You do not need to go out of the way to join in; just a few messages of support go a long way to a distressed owner of missing pets.

To register with the UK Missing Pets Register you do not need to be a pet owner! We are on the lookout for any pet lovers or members of the public who would like to assist in the search of missing pets in there area.

To join as a ‘Pet Hunter’, simply fill in the registration form and join our community.

Posting Sightings and support messages
It is very simple to post a sighting or support message, you just need to be logged in as a member and then on the missing pet information page, near the bottom, you will see information on how to post your comments. Any message mistakes can be rectified as you have full control over your messages and they can also be deleted if they are no longer applicable.
