Pet Safety Protecting from Fires
A subject close to my heart since we lost our family pet as a result of a fire, my dog was caught inside and because I didn't have fire protection I lost my little precious Raffle. I'm new to the forum, but I feel compelled since its the anniversary of the fire today to mention it, and post a warning to those with pets, to be careful, protect your pets when you go out, and be sure the house is safe.
I know we are all busy people and we can easily forget that life is precious,
that today will be gone and we'll be left with only the memories of our pets and what we lost.
When a pet dies, like ours did, it broke my heart and our whole family especially the kids, I still feel responsible because I could have prevented the fate of our home and pet.
you can protect your home and your family with an alarm with fire response, there are pet friendly alarms so they work at protecting your home but won't be set off when you're pets are walking around.
With fire response the way that it works is that the smoke detector will catch the fire early and alert the authorities to send the firemen to come to your home.
Now I think thats worth the investment to protect your pet and family home, while you're out.
I really would love to know what you all think about pet safety and alarms in the home, how many of you have suffered a loss in your family as a result of a fire or accident.
If you're in the uk and want a fire response alarm fitted can help they looked after my home and we all feel safe when we leave our lovely sally at home on her own.
