Unusual Pet Habits
I've got two black cats- Katie and Hershey and a Shetland Sheep Dog. They're all a bit strange.
My first cat Katie always walks a little bit crooked after an incident where she got lost for a week. She's the mother of Hershey. It's funny to see them together, because Hershey is much bigger and doesn't have a tail. She's very bipolar as well.
Hershey, her son and my favorite cat does all sorts of wacky things. He likes to crawl up on your shoulders and sit there like he's a pirate's parrot. He's always very cautious walking through doors, and he scares really easily. The funniest thing he does though, is open the door to my room when he wants in. Our doorknobs are a certain shape that he can reach all the way up and pull down on it, while pushing on the door and he opens it right up. It can be annoying, but it always makes me laugh.
My dog Laddie (Everyone calls him Lassie) is afraid of both of the cats. When I go out to walk him in the morning, Hershey will follow us the entire time being very sneaky, and then when Laddie doesn't expect it, Hershey will jump out of the bushes at him and try to grab his tail. Laddie runs for his life after this happens, it's quite comical.
What kind of crazy things do your pets do?

RE: Unusual Pet Habits
For some reason, my dog always runs in circles around the couch every 3PM. I don't know why, but something is definently wrong.
And, that's pretty funny. I know someone's cat that can open doors too.

RE: Unusual Pet Habits
My youngest kitten likes to sit on my shoulder as well and ride along with me all through the house.
My oldest dog Summer sits in the bathroom for AT LEAST 4 hours a day and stares at the toilet. I sat in there with her one day for about an hour to see what goes on... Nothing. I have no idea why she does it, but now shes got the youngest one doing it too!

RE: Unusual Pet Habits
The only downside is that your skin is usually their source of grip. Not that fun if you have a thin shirt on.

RE: Unusual Pet Habits
My cats eat the dogfood and my dog eats the catfood. My cats are also afraid of aluminum foil.

RE: Unusual Pet Habits
I know this may be typical, but it amazes me how my dogs will sit there and chase their tails. It seems pointless to me.

RE: Unusual Pet Habits
Maybe Katie got into a fight and lost.
You should take her to a vet because of her limp.

We did. She had a brain parasite they told us and we had her on medication for a while. She's fine now, but still is a little bit crooked.
