dog hair dye
Hi Has any one ever dyed their dog s coat, and if so what do you think of using natural henna to enliven the natural colour of the dog.

RE: dog hair dye
Specifications:

4oz jars

Ingredients:

Purified water, CTFA*_approved dyes and pigments, cellulose thickener, glycerin and preservative

Directions:

Wear protective gloves to prevent staining of skin. Test on a small patch before proceeding. Shampoo the pet, then apply to wet fur and leave on for 15 minutes (more time increases color intensity). Rinse and dry coat. Note: for coloring limited areas, such as ears or tail, you may apply to dry fur. Results may vary, depending on application strength and individual pet’s coat.

Note: Coloring results may vary with coat type and breed.

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
Store in a cool, dry place away from excessive heat.
Caution:
Do not ingest, or allow pets to lick or ingest. Do not use on pets that have sensitive, irritated or damaged skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth; if this happens, flush with a large amount of water for 15 minutes, and consult a veterinarian if irritation continues.
May cause allergic reactions, pain or severe itching; if any of these occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a veterinarian.
Keep away from children.

Dog Hair Dye

People do it... They really dye their dog's hair. Crazy colors too- pink, blue, orange, purple, whatever... But, you have to remember that you can't use people hair dye on your dog. Dogs are not build the same way people are. I mean, they can't even use our shampoo, so there's no reason to you human hair dye on them.

But, anyway. I'll start off by saying, if youchoose to dye your dog's hair, use cool- aid, food coloring, or find a pet- safe hair dye. I haven't seen any in my local Wal- Mart, Target, Petsmart, or Petco, not any of my drug pharmacies, so I'm not quite sure where you'd find any.
