Somebody had called at the house on 12/04/08, left the front door open, Cherry had entered the house and person had left and locked her in. Spotted at a bedroom window by another neighbour and rescued by the RSPCA, police and a locksmith. Hopefully I will be able to reclaim the costs but Cherry is safe which is the only thing that matters!

Our cat, ANOOSH has been missing since breakfast this morning, Sunday 22nd April 2007. It's now past 5pm - and although it's not even been a full day, this is *very* unusual as Anoosh does not usually stray further than our garden, or a few metres away from her food bowl. We are especially worried as THREE long haired cats have gone missing from our street in the last 10 days or so. Anoosh is a Himalayan cat - she is long haired with a squished nose. She is cream with seal-point type markings; brown/grey face, ears, legs and tail. She has beautiful BLUE eyes. She *is* microchipped and is also wearing a blue collar embroidered with white and pink flowers. The collar has 2 bells on it; 1 blue and 1 pink, as well as a small barrel containing our contact details. Anoosh came to us as an RSPCA rescue cat in November of last year. She is incredibly friendly (and a bit daft) but thinks with her stomach and is permanently on the lookout for food. She never really goes further than our garden, although sometimes ventures to lie on next door's lawn. She considers all cats as her friend and will just wander up to them. She usually comes running if we call her name, clank her food cupboard door, or rattle biscuits - this is why we are worried as over 9 hours of not seeing her waiting by her bowl to be fed is INCREDIBLY unusual.
