Black Labrador, 8 years old, grey hair on his chin. Fit, healthy with a brown sun spot of hair on his off hind rump about the size of a 50p. Will howl if left alone. Went missing in the water at 6.50pm, fire brigade and owner searched down to Great Bradley and Thurlow and back up to Kirtling Weir no 8. No sign nor reported sightings with other dog walkers. Left the area at 10pm due to fading light. May have managed to get out of the water and will be dis-orientated. Any information, please contact 0784 3328889 or 01638 731160. NOW FOUND! After 6 1/2 days wondering around south Cambridgeshire, spotted on the M11 and in various places by the public she is back in our hands. Many thanks indeed to all those who helped find her, especially the estate gamekeeper in Barton and the kind and caring people of Barton and Grantchester. Our search for Helga was greatly helped by our putting up 100+ posters in the area (on all bridleways/ public footpaths etc) as well as contacting all large landowners/ farm staff/ postmen etc in the local area. Even though she was on her own she still managed to find food, shelter and water as well as crossing busy roads etc. Don't lose hope if your dog is missing - keep looking and get as many eyes looking as well. It has surprised us just how kind and selflessly helpful people in the area have been.

Daisy is a beautiful grey cat with three and half white paws (one of her paws looks as if she has stepped in grey paint!) and she is very sweet natured but possibly a little nervous with people she doesn't know. She has a tendency to go 'wandering' as our back garden leads onto the Little Paxton Nature Reserve and there have been times when she would disappear for days on end. However, the longest she has ever been away was 10 days and now it has been over three weeks.
