PARROT/PARAKEET SIGHTED in Nottingham (NG7) on 13th February 2017
Location: Mount Hooton Road, Nottingham, NG7
Sex: Unknown
Approx Age: Cannot Tell
Main Colour: Green
Other Colours: Multi-Coloured (Face)
Other Features: Looked like it had ring-shaped markings round the neck, with pink/purple/red cheeks/neck - hard to tell exact colours as only seen from a distance.
Not yet checked for a Leg Ring/Id
Other Information: I've seen this bird three times now, all in the same area of Nottingham (Hyson Green/Forest Recreation Ground) - twice in December 2016 and once today, 13th February. On all three occasions it was squawking and generally flying around, stopping to land in nearby trees. I tried to get near it to take a picture but it flew off when I got too close.
