Found Bird Canary from Kingston Upon Thames Greater London KT2

This found Canary Bird was found around Kingston Upon Thames Greater London KT2

I’m told by the RSPB that this is a canary mule. It hopped about on some scaffolding outside my window this morning. It didn’t seem to be scared when I moved the curtains to take photos. After a little while it flew off. I am afraid I don’t have the bird but hopefully knowing it is living in this area may be helpful to its owner.

The bird was primrose yellow almost all over, with some small areas of pale / dark brown. It had darker brown/black markings round its head/eyes
