She listens to her name (Mao, which means cat in Chinese and sounds almost like chairman Mao). Shes very timid though (most of the time) and gets scared easily by people, cars or any loud noises. She has relatively short legs for a cat. She doesnt roam very far normally, so is likely to have been frightened and bolted, so is likely to be hiding in a shed or garage, or in foliage.

she has a stripey tail a bit like a raccoon or ringtail lemur, and a long black stripe along the spine. Her nose is dark, and she has a dark patch on one of her hind legs. Her chest and belly are white but theres a dark patch exactly in the middle of her
